Own an incredible work of art with long lasting value. These cuckoo clocks can be handed down from generation to generation. This hand carved, eight-day cuckoo clock chalet features a slanted, asymmetrical roof, four windows with hand painted shutters, a man sitting at a table drinking beer and his dog sitting nearby. At the top of each hour the man raises and lowers his beer mug as the hand carved, cuckoo bird cuckoos the hour. Two cast iron pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two separate brass chains. The eight-day brass mechanical Regula movement is wound once per eight days by pulling the chains which raises the two pine cone weights. One weight powers the time and the other weight powers the cuckoo, cuckoo call, and the beer drinker.
